New Styles of Upmarket Bar Stools

By Adrian Higgins, 24th July, 2011

Ready for purchase this week is our much-loved Siena Bar Stool, which has come back in to stock as a stylish upgraded model. Real leather upholstery bolsters the luxurious seat, helped by the comfortable dense foam padding that covers the seat cushion and the tall, supportive backrest. The upmarket steel frame has been upgraded with a sturdier, heavy base and a matching rectangular footrest, with durable chrome plating for a dazzling mirror finish.

(2018 - Please note, the Siena has since been discontinued, we recommend the Martello Real Leather Stool as a stylish alternative.)

Another of our new real leather designs is the Davinci Bar Stool, built on a similar chromed frame to the Siena with a sturdy square base and oblong footrest. The dynamic seat design of the Davinci makes it striking in any environment, with a trendy angular shape that provides an unmistakably contemporary look. Available in both black and cream genuine leather, it brings an eye-catching focal point to any kitchen island or breakfast bar area. (2014 - Please note, the Davinci has now been discontinued and replaced by the Christiana Bar Stool.)

A third design to be added to our collection of Real Leather Bar Stools this week is the Real Leather High Back Stool, the cream upholstery providing you with a lighter colour to go with the popular black and brown versions we already stock. Sleek and ergonomic, this stool is a minimalist masterpiece, with a versatile design that works well alongside any style of decor. Set on a slender chrome-plated frame, it showcases a feature T-bar footrest for a practical resting spot for the feet. (2014 - Please note, the Real Leather High Back is no longer available, however the Deluxe High Back Stool is still available in a wide variety of colours.)

The fourth and final addition to our luxury real leather range is the Real Leather Crescent Bar Stool. An upgraded version of the Brushed Crescent Stool, the Real Leather Crescent has the same beautifully finished brushed steel frame with a flat, heavy base as its faux leather counterpart. This makes it a sturdy and durable item that is the perfect accompaniment to any bar table or kitchen island. The same seat design sees a well-padded cushion flanked by an arching backrest, from which the Crescent derives its name, upholstered in soft genuine leather available in black, brown, cream or white for a luxurious, upmarket look and feel.

Also new this week is a new colour for the Cuboid Bar Stool, now available with crisp white faux leather covering the squared seat cushion. Chic and compact, the Cuboid is a fashionable fixed height design that looks great in any setting, with its satin silver powder coated frame and dense foam padding. And at a generous height of 75cm it's ideal for a taller counter, perfect if you have a commercial height kitchen worktop or elevated breakfast bar.(December 2018 - Please note, the Cuboid Bar Stool has now been discontinued, we recommend the Vision as an alternative.)

The final addition this week is the Opus Bar Stool, which is now available in a pale pink faux leather that adds a subtle splash of colour to its surroundings. The encircling backrest provides good support for your back and arms, providing an immensly relaxing place to sit. Hardwearing and easy to clean, thus perfect for the kitchen, the Opus is nevertheless a distinctive and functional design that will work anywhere from a dressing table to occasional seating in a child's bedroom. (2014 - Please note, the Opus has now been discontinued.)
