Oak Kitchen Stools

By Adrian Higgins, 10th June, 2012

The desirability of oak kitchen stools makes them a superb addition to any home, giving a classy, natural touch that exudes to its surroundings. The organic and tactile feel that they bring to any location makes them ever popular, with a look that never seems to age but only becomes more fashionable. Our line of solid oak bar stools is a stylish yet robust range, with each item showcasing high-class, quality construction, and traditionally inspired design which works superbly in amongst any decor from the retro through to the modern. Ready assembled, they are primed for any kitchen or breakfast bar and will take pride of place in any home, with a beautiful, jaw-dropping grain that shows through the light, natural finish of the oak sections.

"Oak has been used since time immemorial for everything from the frames of houses through to utensils and even toys, being sought after for its look, its durability and its strength. In today’s ecologically conscious world, it is again rising in popularity and is once more a fashionable choice."
Oak Wood Used for Furniture

The beautiful Drift is our first offering; a Scandi inspired masterpiece with a simplistic and stylish matt resin seat, this stool utilises a striking combination of materials to create a naturally minimalist appeal. The four oak legs are held rigid by two bracing bars that increase the visual impact and stability, enhancing the smart feel.

The Oslo presents a more traditional design approach. With a smooth, square-shaped seat that has been moulded for comfort, the stool is made entirely of natural oak wood. A quartet of bracing bars reinforce the solid legs, providing you with a footrest and the overall design showcases a natural grain and colouring that fives a rustic yet modern appeal.

For a more contemporary take, the Dove comes complete with on trend grey velvet covering the backless design and chic chrome studs edging the seat. This creates a harmonious yet impactful contrast with the four solid oak legs and footrest that make up the frame. Encircled in a modernising grey finish, the legs an elegant touch and charm, bringing undeniable character to every setting.

Above are just three examples of the oak wooden kitchen stools we have to offer, but we do offer a wider range. Here’s a few more things to think about when choosing the right style…

For a classic look, traditional oak stools feature simple lines and a natural finish that highlight the grain. They are of a sturdy construction, making them ideal for farmhouse-inspired interiors. If it’s comfort you are seeking, stools with upholstered seats or padded backs are an excellent choice. These combine the visual warmth of oak with the softness of fabric or leather, offering both style and cosiness. Whilst if you like the idea of an up-to-date look, contemporary oak stools embrace modern design elements with sleek and minimalist profiles. Utilising different materials, they blend the natural beauty of the wood with other accents to creating a sophisticated seating option.
