Backless Padded Seat

I bought 3 of the Audley stools. They arrived promptly after I ordered them online. Assembly took me a little while but not difficult. In order to be able to fix the side bars into the correct space between the 4 corner legs I found it easier if I had the legs screwed in at less then 90%, otherwise I found it too tight a fit. I have been using them in last 2/52. They are sturdy and strong yet lightweight. As they are rectangular , when stored under my island shelf , they do not protrude much which is exactly what I was looking for.
A note to remember- the height is reduced slightly when sitting on them therefore making me slightly lower eating at the island but still at a comfortable height. My previous stools were of industrial style , wood and metal, so the height was fixed. As I moved house, downsizing, they were too bulky for the space in the new kitchen.
