We purchased six of these chairs to complement a recent dining table purchase. We went back and forth between a couple of styles of dining chair on the website but these won out overall. They have a thicker than normal seat cushion base which is the reason we went for these. That is the impression the photos gave on the website and it turns out it was a true impression. Also, the chair legs having the protective rubber pads is a bonus that will protect out new laminated floor. Finally, the faux leather has a quality about it that, to me anyway, makes it look like better than faux. Over all I am very happy with these chairs.
